About Meetings

138 viewsUpdated 18/09/20261 min read

Meetings keeps agendas, minutes and — the part that matters — the commitments made, so that last week's actions are in front of you at this week's meeting.

This topic includes:

Series and meetings

A series is a recurring meeting — "Weekly progress meeting". Meetings in a series are numbered, so #1, #2 and #3 read in order and share their structure.

The meetings list Meetings, numbered within their series.

Topics and items

  • A topic is a heading on the agenda: "Safety moment", "Progress against programme".
  • An item is something discussed under a topic, and it can carry an assignee, a due date and a status.

A meeting moves from Agenda — the plan, circulated beforehand — to Minutes, the record of what was said and agreed.

Follow-up meetings

Creating a follow-up carries the open items forward, so nothing agreed last week is lost this week. Items already closed stay behind in the meeting where they were closed.

Invitees are project members, and one or more can be marked as organiser. Several people can be invited at once.
