Photos is the project's visual record: progress shots, defects, closed-up work.

Albums

An album groups photographs — "Level 02 progress", "Defects". A photo belongs to one album.

The photo grid Photos, grouped into albums.

Tags

Tags are free labels, and a photo can carry several: Level 02, Partitions, Defect. Tags cut across albums, so "every photograph of fire stopping" works whichever album each one sits in.

Tags are tidied as they are saved: surrounding spaces are trimmed, and the same label typed twice in different cases — Level 2 and level 2 — is stored once.

When and where a photo was taken

A photograph records when it was taken separately from when it was uploaded. This matters more than it sounds: a week of site photographs uploaded on Friday all share one upload time, and sorting by it tells you nothing. The capture time comes from the photograph itself.

A photo can also record where it was taken, both as coordinates and as a node of the location breakdown structure — so "every photograph of level 3" is a question with an answer.

Note: deleting a photo is a soft delete; it can be restored from the recycle bin.
