Issues are classified twice: a category for the broad kind of problem, and a type within it for the specific one. Reporting groups by both, so the taxonomy is what turns a list of issues into an answer.

How the two levels work
A new project starts with a default taxonomy — categories such as Quality, Safety and Coordination, each with the types that belong under it. A type only means something inside its own category, so:
- Choosing a Type without a Category is refused.
- Changing the Category clears the Type, because the previous type does not belong under the new category.
Edit the taxonomy
- Open Issues and click Settings beside the title.
- Add, rename or deactivate categories and the types beneath them.
A new category or type is added at the end of its list, not sorted into the middle of the existing ones — so what you just created is where you left it.
Tip: deactivate rather than delete. Deactivating stops a type being offered on new issues while leaving the issues already classified under it intact, so historical reporting still works.
